WORLDS APART
BOOK 11
Charlemagne
It has been five years since Pegasus left the Eventide system, and more than a century since it entered the Orion Quadrant on its quest to find Earth. At Eventide, the crew detected a signal they hope will lead to a reconnection with their home-worlds and a chance to replenish the ship's badly depleted supplies. In fact, the signal is calling the ship to the end of its journey.

EdenWorld will prove to be one of the strangest worlds Pegasus will ever visit. Commander Keeler leads a landing team on a strange journey, following a highway paved with yellow stones. Along the way, they encounter a thin, brain-damaged human; a 3,000 year old robot; and a lion-head on the run.
As a result of the White Plague, Bodicea has been left with a population in which there are twenty women for every male. But, bucking the erotic possibilities inherent in that premise, the planet is ruled by a cruel and oppressive Matriarchy of Radical Feminists. And the crew spends most of the first part of the book dealing with their crap. They also learn of an underground movement of men seeking to end their oppression.
Winter is inhabited by a bunch of cranky old humans; kept alive by some mysterious property of the planet's ecosystem for over 3,000 years. They have all gone quite mad because the human mind was not designed to continue accumulating memories for 3,000 years.
The crew of Pegasus enjoys some shore leave on the planet Aurora, whose primary products are armaments, pornography, and snack foods. Alas, TyroCommander Lear ignites a thermonuclear war.
Pegasus answers a distress call from its sister ship Lexington Keeler, and arrives to find a system recently devastated by a massive alien attack. Commander Keeler's efforts to save the other ship lead to mutiny within his crew.
Having defied orders and crossed to the far side of the galaxy, Pegasus drops in on an ancient prison planet, from which there is no escape. Trapped on the planet with no escape and not much else to do, Commander Keeler and Eddie Roebuck lead opposing factions in an apocalyptic Holy War.
Three stories jammed into one book. Three times the quirk at the same low price - Hellfire: No Blood for Tritium, Falldown and Cake or Death
When Pegasus arrives at Gethsemane, they find a planet than only has a few days to live. A Rogue Planet has entered the system and will collide with Gethsemane in just a few days.
